Shreyas is a counsel with more than 10 years of experience in tax litigation and tax arbitrations. Shreyas has previously worked with leading organisations including with BMR Group, Mumbai (Indirect Tax) and as an in-house counsel with Godrej Industries Limited. Shreyas regularly appears for income tax appeals and various writ petitions on income tax, GST and customs issues, including on matters relating to:

• Blocking/ Mismatch of input tax credits
• Cancellation of Registration
• Seizure of goods at Customs port
• Classification and valuation of goods
• Refund claims
• Export incentive schemes
• Legacy disputes under Service Tax, Central Excise and Value Added Tax
• Challenge to trade remedial measures like antidumping duty and safeguard duty

Shreyas regularly appears before various tax tribunals including ITAT and CESTAT and assists in advance rulings, representations and advocacy. Shreyas also represents clients on corporate, commercial and securities law matters at High Court of Bombay, NCLAT, NCLT and SAT. Shreyas has worked on varied industries including FMCG, Consumer Durables, Airlines, Food & Beverages/Restaurants, Agri, Construction/ Real Estate, Government, etc. Shreyas is an alumni of Hidayatullah National Law University and was called to the Bar in the year 2012.
