Purvi is a partner and heads the dispute resolution practice group at Acuity Law. Purvi has over 15 years of relevant experience and regularly represents and advises clients in civil / commercial matters, arbitration matters, intellectual property rights’, white collar crimes, criminal matters before the High Court of Bombay, City Civil Court, Sessions, Magistrate Courts, Sessions Court, Labour Court and Small Causes Court.  Purvi’s practice encompasses a wide range of complex matters in various forums.

  • Representing and advising spot exchange in respect of civil and criminal proceedings initiated by the investors, members and third parties and Government Agencies in respect of the alleged fraud, loss suffered. Proceedings were initiated by the Exchange.
  • Representing and advising in respect of chargesheets and PMLA Complaints filed by Investigating agency for the alleged misrepresentation and offences committed.
  • Representing and advising in a litigation with respect to land taken on lease from the Government.*
  • Defending and advising in a suit filed by a builder in respect of Development Agreement assigned by the owner.*
  • Representing and advising a promoter of a society in respect of the land assigned by the Government.*
  • Assisted in obtaining sanctions from the High Court of Bombay for amalgamation of Hindalco Industries Ltd. with INDAL.*
  • Assisted in a litigation matter involving inter-se disputes between partners of a firm.*
  • Defending and advising in an intellectual property rights’ matter involving issue of copyright in respect of show Bigg Boss.*
  • Litigation matters, including briefings of Senior Counsel, assistance in appearance before High Court/ Tribunal, drafting and appearance.
