About

Kirtiman has more than 23 years of experience in advising and representing clients in various disputes related matters including matters pertaining to constitutional law, administrative laws, and commercial disputes including telecom and health care matters. He represents clients in the Supreme Court of India, various High Courts in India, the National Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission, the Telecom Disputes Settlement and Appellate Tribunal and the Central Administrative Tribunal. Kiritman is currently appointed as:

  • Central Government Standing Counsel with effect from July 2014; and
  • Standing Counsel, National Board of Examinations with effect from August 2017.

Moreover, Kirtiman has been involved in various cases of national importance including the Coal Block cases; price fixation of various drugs; anti-dumping duty; COFEPOSA; safeguarding duty; Foreign Exchange Management Act, 1999; and Vodafone case in the Delhi High Court, concerning the suit seeking a restraint on Vodafone from proceeding with the arbitration under the Investment Treaty between the UK and India.
