About

Akhil is a member of the investment funds, private equity / venture funding practice group at Acuity Law. He regularly advises private equity funds and corporate clients in connection with cross border acquisitions, equity investments, exit strategies and compliance requirements. He also works with the firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency group on creditor side recoveries. Akhil’s industry experience includes agri-tech, retail, logistics, recruitment, and social media.

  • Advised a Government managed financial institution for its venture debt funding of ~USD 26 million to various entities, across industries including artisan bakery; lifestyle; skincare; electric vehicles; logistics; finance; cloud communication; and space exploration (2024).
  • Advised a Japanese investor in its minority investment in a company involved in a business of logistics (2023).
  • Advised a Government managed fund for its venture debt funding to entities in the range of ~USD 625,000 (2023)
  • Advised a family office in its follow-on investment of ~USD 8.7 million in a public unlisted company in the retail business (2022)
