Akhil is a member of the Corporate Practice Group who acts on a broad range of transactional matters. His practice includes advising private equity funds and corporate clients in connection with cross border acquisitions, equity investments, exit strategies and compliance requirements. He also works with the firm’s Restructuring & Insolvency group on creditor side recoveries. Akhil’s industry experience includes agri-tech, retail, logistics, recruitment, social media and healthcare.

• Advised a Government managed financial institution for its venture debt funding of ~USD 26 million to various entities, across industries including artisan bakery; lifestyle; skincare; electric vehicles; logistics; finance; cloud communication; and space exploration (2024).
• Advised a Japanese investor in its minority investment in a company involved in a business of logistics (2023).
• Advised a family office in its follow-on investment of ~USD 8.7 million in a public unlisted company in the retail business (2022).
• Advised a Japanese company on proposed entry into the recruitment business in India (2022).
• Advised a Government managed investment fund in its fund raise of ~USD 76.6 million (2022).
• Advised NABVENTURES Limited in the Series A equity funding round of ~USD 3.5 million in Eggoz (2021).
• Advised NABVENTURES Limited in the Pre-series A funding round of ~USD 2 million in Vilcart Solutions Private Limited (2021).
• Advised NABVENTURES Limited in the sale of its minority stake from Fraazo (2021)
• Advised the lead investor in its ~USD 9 million investment in a public unlisted company in the retail business (2021).
